- One of our London Locksmith team will carry out this job for you anywhere in the London M25 area.
Mul-T-Lock four-way locking doors use a special cylinder to facilitate their multi-directional locking. If your door looks like the photos above, you will need a Mul-T-Lock Door cylinder. There are several different versions of these doors, so even if your door looks slightly different, you may still need this cylinder.
If your door is a Mul-T-Lock door, it will have a metal plate surrounding the cylinder, with the name 'Mul-T-Lock' embossed one. On some doors, this plate may incorporate a handle. The door will be locked by turning the key several times to 'wind' out the locking bolts. The door will also have a very distinctive set of 3 or 4 round metal bolts which extend from the edge of the door adjacent to the cylinder. If in doubt, email us a picture and we can confirm whether your door is a Mul-T-Lock door.
